About Us

Synapse Services is a privately owned and managed Center for Psychological Medicine with the head office in the heart of Nigeria. We provide first class psychological and psychiatric care as well as treatment of addictions, with a range of therapeutic programs suited to individual needs.

Our purpose is to make timely and long lasting difference in the lives of individuals and families we support. Our treatment programs have mainly been developed by clinicians working in America, United Kingdom and Nigeria. We currently treat over 45 conditions across all our treatment sites. We also have International professionals who work with locally based clinicians for specialised assessments in areas where we struggle to find expertise in the local community or country.

Synapse Centres

Our flagship centre opened operations in 2009 in Wuse 2, Abuja Nigeria. This centre has recently relocated to Utako in Abuja. This is a 25 bedded unit providing high end psychological services. We have since opened two units in Lagos state and another in Niger state. We hope to soon open up a few new centres in Nigeria and another in West Africa.

Synapse is at the fore front in providing most recent evidenced based treatment in West Africa.

RTMS

We are the first Centre in West Africa to own and operate the REPETITIVE TRANSCRANIAL MAGNETIC STIMULATION MACHINE (RTMS). We have two machines, one in Lagos and the other in Abuja, Nigeria.

Our in-depth expertise includes addiction services, child and adolescent psychiatry, sleep problems, trauma, personality disorder, psychosis, bipolar disorders, anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, learning disability, brain injury and progressive neurological conditions such as Huntington's disease and dementia. Other areas of expertise are available but not listed so please make an enquiry.
